I saw that when I wanted to purchase the survival kit it had 4 options, and one was "set your price" even if I put it NOT 5.00USD, would I still get the kit?

I believe so, but, to my knowledge, you cannot get the content for free by paying $0.00. When I tried to do so, I was reminded that "independent game developers have to eat, too!"

Conartist spent money from his own pocket to get TLS:UC to be such a great game least you can do is pay five dollars..
