First of all, my he rest in peace. He died just today and will be sorely missed. This thread is meant to discuss his accomplishments, and pay respect to a man who made so many technological advances.

the only source to his death is a tweet that was yanked almost immediatly, so until it is confirmed, he is not dead. But if it is confirmed, i will gladly pay my respects to this pioneet of technology. =|

He's had pancreatic cancer for quite a while now, he survived a very long time with it.
