Combine old logo with new logo

Combining the old logo with the new logo. My idea is use the old logo swords and combine it with the new logo. Thus this will create a logo using the new logo shield with the swords.

I don't get it.
But i find the old logo better.

i didn't even notice the new logo, i like the old one if you ask me you should keep the old one
