This is the sonny 2 guide for those who are playing heroic run with hydraulics. It's kind of my take on the phrase

fire and ice, with physical instead of fire. Zone 2 guide is from my older guides. So to be clear, This is an ORIGINAL giude, I have not cheated of others. You mutn't train till zone 6.

Combos:-

These are combos for different situations. To be used on enemies.

Power combo: Regulate, Slam x2, Vapour Cannon x2, Slam x2, Vapour Cannon x2, Vapour Cannon x2, Slam, Vapour Cannon,

Regulate

Freezer Combo: Mind freeze, Vapour Cannon, Mind Freeze, Vapour Cannon, Flash Freeze, Vapour Cannon x2

Incapacition Combo: Ice Wall, Vascular Arrest/Vapour Cannon, Vapour Cannon, Mind Freeze, Vapour Cannon, Mind Freeze, Vapour Cannon.

Tips:-

1.Veradux doen't need strength, but instinct is important.
2.Roald needs a good mix of fire piercing and strength.
3.Felicity needs a good mix of speed and strength.
4.Baron, Clemons, Hydra+claws x2 give you AWE-inspiring weapons for roald. They have high strength and except baron's, have high fire piercing.
5.Hydraulics are good team mates and can dominate 3 v/s 1 fight, but since their buffs have small durations, they can't afford to lose team mates in 3 v/s 3 battles.
6.No matter how much you refer to and follow this guide, do not adapt your style to it, adapt it to your style.
7.Don't forget to go back into the original ability config. for that zone after each fight.

Team abilities:-

1.Veradux:-
Heal= heals for 500% instinct and 100% strength
Shock= attacks for 200% to 300% instinct, dispels one buff, except cosmic buffs
strike= restores 30 focus (maybe 35, I didn't pay much attention) does damage for 150% strength approx.

2.Roald:-
Greater Purpose= heal for 120% strength and reduce damage and increase healing received by 40%
Strike= restores 30 focus (maybe 35, I didn't pay much attention) does damage for 150% strength approx.
Fire Stun= Damages for 350% to 400% of strength, has a chance to stun the target

3.Felicity:-
Strike= restores 30 focus (maybe 35, I didn't pay much attention) does damage for 150% strength approx.
Acidic Residue= damages for 200% of strength and causes target to recieve 10% less healing
Blade Dance= Sheilds the target from damage egual to 1000% of the target's speed, but if the shield is broken, the
target's physical defence is lowered by 50%

Zone 1: New Alcatraz: The Iron Prison:-

Story:-

Felicity steals sonny's important tape and goes to New Alcatraz: The Iron Prison. This place houses a dark secret, it is used by scientists for experiments. the arrival of sonny causes a prison riot and attract ZPCI. Finally, after beating many people, sonny fights fellicity. Turns out sonny's tape has some old song, which leaves him baffled and confused.

Ability wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Restore, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

Most Opponents practise power bio or shadow psycho, prefering damage over health. Anything with the "cunning" word

in its name can heal.

Hard Fights:-

Twisted Experiment: The strongest shadow physco there is. Remember, whenever he uses shadow blend, he is signaling

that he will heal himself, big-time. stun him when shadow blend is active and hit him hard.

Warden: He can do a lot of damage, even kill you in just one turn. You should keep stunning him and I suggest put 2

to 3 restores in your bar.

ZPCI: easy, but remember, stun him when he uses aim for the heart.

Felicity: just keep her stunned, her black metal sucks. Restore can remove it.

Zone 2: Oberursel - The Frozen Village:-

Story:-

Sonny and Veradux, get in Oberursel - The Frozen Village after their car breaks down. The place is controlled by the

Order of Knights and is infested with frost monsters. Also, this place houses the rebels, one of who joins you. His

name is Roald. Sonny first fights through the monsters then goes to the order's hideout. There he fights through the

order members. Finally, it is revealed that the order is under Baron. Sonny defeats him then the ZPCI come to the

village after discovering the rebel hideout and baron(one of the two, i don't remember). Sonny defeats ZPCI guys

then their leader, Captain Hunt, and escapes.

Ability wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Restore x2, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

Part 1:-

Sonny fights frosts and some order guys. Keep Veradux in defensive mode and use offensive moves. Concentrate on Veradux's Instinct and Roald's strength. Vitality for all. Sonny will more strength and lesser Instinct.

Part 2:-

The opponents get very offensive. In the Start, each team contains one healer, take him out after you kill the mage (if any). Baron is the last opponent here.

Hard Fights:-

Knight + Mage x2: the mages put a healer debuff, reducing healing by 70%. If a guy has 2 of these debuffs at the same time, healing him is impossible. Worst of all, these debuffs are dark type, so they can't be disabled. The

Knight uses shield on one of them once in a while. Concentrate on the lower mage and keep the upper one stunned. The Knight will mostly help the upper one. Still, take away all his mana using regulate. When the lower one's health goes below 20%, start stunning him. After he dies, start stunning the knight and follow the same strategy you used against the lower mage. Finally, beat the knight up. You need Veradux till killing both the mages. After that, only 2 people are needed, even you can die.

Baron:He cannot regenerate mana without losing a lot of HP per turn. He puts a 10% HP drain with 50% decreased

healing received debuff on you, keep him stunned after he uses his mana regen buff and till you are in total mind freeze cooldown. After his HP reaches 40k, start stunning full-time. He stops with the 10% debuff and once a while gets Holy Scars, during which your attacks do a 40x damage. He may give you the strongest weapon for roald till end

of zone 3.

Part 3:-

Only 2 fights, one being the boss fight. Nothing special.

Hard Fights (actually fight):-

Captain Hunt: The only way to tell how hard this fight is, I can tell you only one thing, this fight is needed to fulfill 'The Predator' achievement. Till the time the sniper and healer have there shields up, try to survive. Disable Sniper's last buff after the shield is down. Keep attacking and stunning the sniper. If veradux gets low on focus or health, heal him. After he is dead, bring Hunt's HP to 3k. He will then go into desperate shield. Then kill the healer, and finally, Hunt. Congratulations, you have 'The Predator' achievement.

Zone 3: Ivory Line - The Train

Story:-

In order to escape the ZPCI, the guys board a train, which overrun by ghosts, and some hobos. Some old ZPCI also

fight you. If you read the unstained flyer, you will find that a magician disappeared 3 weeks ago and his tourpe is

on this train. it turns out clemons, the apparently "lost" magician, is some kind of a monster and has taken over

the train. You beat him and escape the train to avoid his minions and ZPCI.

Ability Wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

Spectres are the true shadow psychos, sacrificing life for power. Not heard, burn fire with fire, get offensive. The

hobo's stench can be a problem. The Real Hobo Just kills himself.

Hard Fights:-

Phantom, Antagonist, Beast: It's Blue, Red, and Black. Blue has big ice piercing and mid section cold hydro powers.

Red has power and power bio + hot hydro mix of powers. Black has Shadow Psycho powers. Kill black, then red(all I

remember is that he made others hard to kill), and finally blue.

Clemons The Deciever: The Climax. This guy has a sucky subversion cast. Just keep veradux and Roald on relentless

till the guy stops with th buff/debuff. Then he gives nasty shadow buffs. Same as always, keep him stunned. When he

reaches death point, he reveals his true form. He now recieves more damage than usual. Just Finish him of. I really

don't remmember a lot about this fight, so if you have a question, give me the specific, meaning abilities of both

you and he. He may give a good weapon for Roald.

Zone 4: The Tunnel Of Illusions:-

I just love this stage. Savour it while it lasts.

Story:-

They end up in this cave since it is the nearest thing in sight of their escape point. They go in it and find some

bodies and, a sign (on which you have to click) warning them of the presence of a poisonous gas with side effects

they ignore. They fight very wierd monsters, really wierd. Finally, some miners rescue them and they realise they

were hallucinating due to breathing the gas. The miners are unhappy with the new administration and the death of a

miner provokes them to stir a rebellion.

Ability Wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Flash Freeze x2, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

These fights have no similarities whatsoever. Though the fights are real easy, some use nasty buffs, many of which

use focus. So, use flash freeze

Hard (not really) Fights:-

Vivian Vixen: and easy fight, but those who want braging rights, read on. Drop Roald, Put Veradux On Phlanx. Keep

doing low damage to her till her buff reaches 3 turns left. Then start stunning her, and put veradux on relentless

mode. she uses her true form when her hp reaches 60%-50%. You have now finished Vixen without her going into true

form.

Gregor: That roach. He is so annoying. When his buff reaches the last turn, start stunning him. If he uses focus for

his heal buff (I have forgotten that), use flash freeze. It will be annoying, but he will eventually die.
Alternative: Put Vascular Arrest in the free space. When Gregor uses heal buff, use vascular arrest.

MokoShotar: DO NOT USE Mind Freeze. Keep both Roald in Relentless mode. When one of you gets infected, put Veradux

on relentless till the infection is over.

Bunny: He does high damage, so stun him once in a while. He once in a while gets a debuf that increases damage he

recieves by a lot. Put Veradux on Defense mode.

Hydras + Claws x2: This battle is easy as pie, only if you can survive the onslaught of the three deadly heads. Drop

Flash freeze and your personal ability and equip restore x3. You can switch Mind Freeze x2 with whatever you want.

The claws are weak against water and hydra is weak against physical attacks. Roald sucks in this fight since he uses

fire attacks and they resist fire. Kill the claws, then the hydra. He may give you the game's best weapon till zone

6 for roald (though he becomes obselete against felicity).

Zone 5: Hew: The Dynestopia:-

Story:-

Sonny finally reaches the city he wanted to reach. The place is infested with rebels and police. Sonny tries to reach the mayor through all this chaos, fighting through gaurds, police, sercet police and specialists. Through the hoards of enemies, he finds Felicity who is also against the mayor. She agrees to join Sonny. Sonny is finally able reach and beat the Mayor. It turns out the mayor wasn't worried about the riot, but wanted to escape Felicity. The Mayor was also the part of a Group of People hell-bent on controlling the world. After losing Hew and Mayor's death, they decide to unleash the "Seed".

Ability Wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Flash Freeze x2, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

Part 1:-

Sonny fights mostly riot police in this part. Stun is really important here. Always kill Hounds first (if any).

Hard Fights:-

Police Colonel: He has 2 buffs you should watch out for, one gives him 400% damage dealing and other gives him 400%

damage recieving. Stun him when he uses the 400% damage dealing buff.

Part 2:-

You now have Felicity. Replace Roald with Felicity and give her best strength equipments you have. Keep useing

regulate and flash freeze on Android Gaurds.

Hard Fights:-

Care Taker + Blood Hound x2: This is a horrible battle. Switch your flash freezes with Ice Walls. Keep the upper dog

in ice wall and keep stunning the lower one. When the lower one dies, start putting Veradux on ice wall and stunning

th upper dog till he dies. The rest is easy.

Part 3:-

You will now fight some specialists. Always kill them first.

Hard Fights:-

City Council: Not that hard, only when you follow a method to kill them. Kill the lower one first, then start mind

freezing and flash freezing the last one, or he will do a 8k attack.

Specialist + Blood Hound x2: put ice wall in your free spaces for this battle. Keep the upper dog in ice wall and

the specialist in flash freeze and mind freeze combo. once a while, put the lower dog in flash freeze or mind freeze

(whichever is available). Kill specialist, then lower dog and finally, upper dog. This battle basically needs luck.

Mayor: The gaurd cannon is a cold hydra with high ice piercing. Kill him first. Then freezer combo since he starts

using his enraged buff. Congratulation, You have the "Legend" Achievement.

Zone 6: Il Sanctus - The Supreme Court:-

Story:-

In pursuit of the Ambassador, they reach the supreme court where a convict has escaped. Sonny fights the Warden, who

activates the bomb before dieing. Sonny then dismantles the bomb. While searching, they find the convict. They beat

him and then try to escape. But, they encounter the Judge. They kill him and escape.

Ability Wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Flash Freeze x2, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

Metal Warden: He uses many fire buffs, just like the warden in zone 1, but with bigger effects. Use the Freezer

combo for him.

Bomb: The only fight where you have to re-spec. Go Hot Hydro on this one. don't forget to re-spec after the fight.

Nostalgia: Put Subversion in one of the free spaces. use the freezer combo till his 666 buff is gone. When his earth

titan buff is up, stun him when he uses his buff that increases damage he does and recieves. After the earth titan

buff is gone. bring his hp below 9k then stun, attack, stun, attack and subversion. he will heal himself to death.

Judge: His stun move is the only move you should be carefull of. Otherwise, freezer combo.

Zone 7: Sho'tul Shelf - The Divided Cliff:-

You should train till lvl 28. get yellow body wear and boots, purple pants, red headwear and gloves from zone 7, and

the emareld rifle from zone 6 for yourself, doc Klima's eqiupment with Mending Beacon and Blast Sheild of zone 6 for

Veradux, and Yasuke's equipment for Felicity.

Story:-

After escaping the court, they reach a cliff. After crossing it, they find a town destroyed and overrun by Versu and

her gang. Sonny tries ridding the town of them.

Ability Wheel:-

Vapour Cannon, Slam, Mind Freeze x2, Flash Freeze x2, Regulate
you can use other spaces however you want

Fights:-

Doctor Klima: Put Subversion in a free space. keep stunning the doc. When you are in total mind freeze cooldown, use

subversion. He will heal himself to death.

Twin Gaurds: Hate this one. There are 2 strategies, one tested and the other theorised on good bases. Replace slam

and free space with 2 ice walls.
Strategy 1: bring both their hp below 6k, wait for their buff to die. Kill south and use incapacition combo on the

other one.
Strategy 2: Break both their sheild. Bring the lower gaurd's hp to around 2k. ice wall the top gaurd, then kill the

lower gaurd. Go into Vascular Incapacitation combo on the upper gaurd. Please tell wether this combo works or not.

Yasuke: Every guide that I have read missed one fact about Yasuke's buff, he cannot lower the damage from damage-

over-time effects. put 2 decimates instead of slam and free space and use freezer combo on him, replaceing some

vapour cannon attacks in this combo with decimate.

Versu The Corruptor:- Do not kill a orb, or she goes into a buff similar to yasuke, but worse. If the upper orb

starts healing her, damage the lower orb. Remember, don't let the lower orb die. Put an ice wall in the free space

just in case.

Congrats, You have finished this game.

Nice guide! However I see some mistakes on it...

3.Felicity:-
Strike= restores 30 focus (maybe 35, I didn't pay much attention) does damage for 150% strength

Her strike is a leading strike that restores 50 focus for 170% strength I think

Also, a lot of this guide is very brief ad unspecific on the battles. For instance

Bomb: The only fight where you have to re-spec. Go Hot Hydro on this one. don't forget to re-spec after the fight.

What if someone doesn't know how to fully use Hot-Hydraulic?

Mayor: The gaurd cannon is a cold hydra with high ice piercing. Kill him first. Then freezer combo since he starts

You don't even have anything on how to actually kill the mayor. Granted, all you have to do is the freeze combo on him, but what if someone doesn't know that?

Well, I'm pretty sure that I could do a legend run using this guide correctly, but I'm not too sure about other mediocre players doing it without additional help. Thanks!

For those who have problem understanding the parts mentioned
Hot Hydro Spec:-

You should fully upgrade warm neuro and the avenger form you can access through warm neuro.
You should use attacks like Impair to increase damage received, and attacks like decimate to put high damage over time debuffs
Lasting Pain is a great passive ability for Hot Hydros.
Remember to keep using regulate to let your focus drain.
Avenger Form eliminates the need for regulate and drastically increases damage.
damage over time debuffs are very important for this fight.

Other Stuff:-

also, please consult the combo list before touching this guide. It is very important.
I got lazy after the first 4 zones, so only wrote the brief essentials for fights that I felt were easy.

to not let focus drain from Hot Blooded (a very very important ability for Hot Hydros)

Use freezer combo on lower guard in both the strategies.

Please comment on this guide so i can improve it.

This is also a bit confusing on when to get abilities. In each zone, or just progressively get them? Also, this doesn't really have any Hot-Hydro part to it at all except for Hot-Blooded, which is only good when you have other Hot-Hydro abilities, which you seems to only have Slam until Zone 7, which IMO is not that effective compared to the other Hot-Hydro abilities. if you nerf your focus regeneration with Hot-Blooded, you might as well get some high-powered strength moves to make up for it. Also, I'm pretty sure that it's not needed to upgrade Mind and Flash Freeze all the way, as the damage becomes based on just Instinct, and you don't even use Instinct (or it seems like you don't), which brings me to your next problem; How do you spend your ability points? I haven't found anywhere where it says so, but I haven't really looked hard. Thanks.

This might sound stupid, but vapour cannon is the basic reason for hot-blooded, it kinda becomes the strongest attack in the arsenal

as for skill points, divide them between vitality, strength, instinct and speed.

get the abilities progressively, and as i mentioned earlier, adapt this guide to your style.
The last thing i want is another Drone (my Sonny 2 avatar).

also, since i upgrade all my cold abilities to the max, i didn't really need any focus except for slam, so why not nerf it.

Still, moves like Demolish and Wreck and really do a lot compared to a measly Vapour Cannon or Slam

You do realize that this guide gives you the option of taking up an extra ability, don't you?
and in my opinion, decimate is one of the only few hot hydro abilities that are useful, demolish and wreck not being part of the list since their effects are small compared to other attacks, and their effects only have a 60% (which comes at their highest tier) chance of happening.
