THE THIRD TIME IS THE CHARM!
As some of you might already know. I'm Moon. This is my third attempt at keeping a thread alive.
It's totally gonna die,
and I might cry.
But it's worth a try :3

Anyways. I'm not really sure what all this will contain, I just hope there will actually be people willing to help me become better at whatever I try to do. So... I guess that means I will be writing (duh), drawing, and other artsy-fartsy stuff I shall attempt.
So... That's all I have for the OP! I hope that all onlookers will enjoy what I do!

Going in the wrong way
Looking for another way out
Can't find the back door
It's useless to scream or shout.
Deserted and desolate,
Barren and cold
Why does that voice scream at me?
So defiant, and bold?
Guiding me through the paths
Like an invisible hand
Showing me how
To cross this foreign land.
I'm almost certain if I took the time to read through them chronologically, I can guess your life events Em.

Cold to the touch,
Frozen in time.
Keeps me on edge, and bold.
But how long can I stay this cold?
It pains me to see
That I can never be
Truly happy, ever again.

Clouds and puffs of air
Meandering through the sky
Making crazy pictures
To be transformed by our eyes.
Giving rain an shade
All around the Earth
Then away they slowly fade
To come back in a constant rebirth.

Where is the child that I once was?
Innocent and ignorant.
At peace with the blindness.
I miss the old me
Where Mom and Dad would always take care
And I never had to worry.

What someone does.

Keep dreaming,
They all say,
And one day it will come true.
But they never mention,
What you will have to do.
Maybe they don't know,
But at the least they could try.
Instead of leaving you,
Stranded, to die.
Not a hint or a clue.
There is simply,
Nothing you can do.
They tell you to dream,
Of impossible things.
Shoot for the moon,
You'll land with the stars.
But they won't tell you,
Tell you just how far.
They send you on a raft,
Made from the hearts bliss.
Love can withstand all, right?
With love, you can't miss.
That's what they think,
As they send you on your way.
Nothing to be afraid of,
Love will make sure you're okay
Then you run into a storm,
And it changes very fast.
Turns into a horrid form,
Your raft will not last.
Love is overcome,
By what the world calls hate.
You jump from your raft,
You can't wait for it to abate.

My hands are tied
We can't escape.
We don't have much longer
Before it's too late.
We came to win,
But this was just bait.
More often than not,
You can't outrun fate.
We had a mission,
But we can't negate.
We were stupid,
We didn't wait.

The ice is inside me
I can't get it out
No matter how loud
I try and shout.
Slowly freezing my blood,
Crawling through my veins.
No matter what I do,
The ice will remain.
All these poems are so unhappy!
Good, but unhappy. Go do something you love & write about that.

I didn't think you lied.
Until I realized,
This is just a game.

But when I went out with my friends,
I saw her. With you.
You told me you were at home.
You weren't going out tonight.
We won't make a scene here,
We'll go home to fight.

Well not only mine,
But a few others, too.
Now I left,
I ran out the door.
Hopped into my car,
Down the road I tore.
Maybe I shouldn't be
Going 100 down the highway.

Two sides of the same coin
Always together
Will never see each other
Is it really for the better?

I will now have to scrounge through my old thread to find the rest of my poetry from the contests and stuff.
Now that I have completed the FLP portion of my archive, I will start on the poetry contest entries. I believe that my old thread also contains all of them, but I am not sure if I have already posted them here or not. I don't have the dates for these, either, but anywho.
Calming rhythm,
Steady waves.
Continuous drumming,
For all days.
Crashing softly,
Against the land.
So I lay down,
On the damp sand.
Feel the water,
Brushing against my feet.
Returning again,
Repeating the beat.
The wave is something,
You cannot amass.
It belongs to the Earth,
It's something you cannot grasp.
Can't hold it in your hand,
Or keep it in a jar.
But you can see it,
Up close or afar.

Again I shall repeat that I am open for criticism! I know my wording in most of my poems seems a bit off. I sacrificed that for the rhyme scheme, but I'm not sure how I will fix it and I don't have the will to sit down and edit this before I post it here. Besides, it's an archive, it doesn't necessarily have to be 'good'
