Posted Mar 24, '12 at 11:43am LeptheDragoon 2 posts	Personally, I'm peeved at the Anti-Defamation League for wasting it's time on this game. The game makes no clear connections to Nazism or Hitler. In fact it clearly states in the games description that it takes place in an alternate 1940's. There is no indication that Nazism or Hitler even exists in this alternate timeline. Furthermore, for those of you out there that claim that games promote increased violence or hate in people there is no conclusive proof (i.e. no study that cannot be disputed by the results of another study). If that were true then I would be a mass murderer by now. Finally, it's a friggin' game for crying out loud. It's meant for entertainment.

It was shortly removed and then uploaded again, but I'm curious to find out where you heard that? =) And I still think it's exaggerated to state that this type of game is not suitable with it's storyline and background... if they were to have used the views of the nazis to create a background story for this game, I would agree. But now all they did was make a game that enables you to try and conquer the world with an army that resembles the Wehrmacht... nothing wrong with it as long as you don't use propaganda to spread those sickening Nazi beliefs! ;)

Why add this game to the discussion? Because it's another good example of a game where one can play as the 'Wehrmacht' instead of the ever-used allies. Can't be wrong, right? =)
