Green Day - Basket Case.

So obvious.

My heart's in the ice house come hill or come valley
Like a long ago Sunday when I walked through the alley
On a cold winter's morning to a church house
Just to shovel some snow.

I wish everyone the best of luck. You'll need it, haha.

John Prine - Bruised Orange..

Love his stuff.  Some of his lyrics get pretty out there sometimes, but that's just one of the reasons why I like him.  Songs like Humidity Built The Snowman, But The Sunshine Brought Him Down, lol.

This is what I told him as I gazed into his eyes
"Ships were made for sinking, whiskey made for drinking
If we were made of cellophane, we'd all get stinking drunk quite faster"
Gwine to run all night
Gwine to run all day
Camptown ladies never sang
All the doo dah day no, no, no

Sorry, I should have posted that one better...

These are the lyrics I'm putting up for guessing:

This is what I told him as I gazed into his eyes
"Ships were made for sinking, whiskey made for drinking
If we were made of cellophane, we'd all get stinking drunk quite faster"
Gwine to run all night
Gwine to run all day
Camptown ladies never sang
All the doo dah day no, no, no

Camptown Races? :P

incorrect.

I actually had to cut out the first line of this verse because it would have been a giveaway.

Ok, this has gone on long enough..

Enjoy:
The Ghost Of Stephen Foster
by
The Squirrel Nut Zippers

and for the next set of lyrics:

Like a worm on a hook
Like a knight from an old fashioned book
I have saved all my ribbons for thee

And if I have been so unkind
I hope that you just let it all go by
And if I have been so untrue
I hope that you know it was all to you

This one has several correct answers, but I just think it's a great song.
