Forums → Popular Media → Name That Song!
A bit of a forum game, but since it deals heavily with songs, I feel it should go here.
The rules are quite simple: Simply name the song that the above lyrics are from. Try and see if you can do it without using Google. :P
That being said, name this song:
I was there when the bear ate his head,
He thought it was a candy. (Everyone knows in the end)
Knock, knock, on the door.
Whose it for? Theres nobody in here. (Look in the mirror my friend)

Am I the only one who knows what Unleashed listens to? It's clearly Down In This Hole by Oomph!
Sitting on an angry chair
Angry walls that steal the air
Stomach hurts and I don't care
It sounded familiar but i need a few days (searching in my MP3s^^) to figure it out, but finaly: Alice In Chains - Angry Chair
Devastated, through broken promises and lies
The scars lie deep now, burning from inside
Cut through broken promises and lies
Intense resentment now will thrive
Seems nobody knows it, it was Bolt Thrower - Entrenched, so i set i new one... easier this time... hmmm... yeah, got one:
So close no matter how far
Couldn't be much more from the heart
Forever trusting who we are
And nothing else matters
Nothing Else Matters - Metallica
You can't break me
Crush the fears of yesterday
You can't save me
Barriers of trust will fade.
I've stood in the dark
Been waiting all this time
While we **** the dead I'm trying to survive
I'll control the world
One person at a time
As I **** the dead I'm trying to survive
I'm not ready to die!
I'm pretty sure it's Avenged Sevenfold- Not ready to Die.
In the town where I was born
Lived a man who sailed to sea
And he told us of his life
In the land of submarines
So we sailed on to the sun
Till we found the sea of green
And we lived beneath the waves
Yay... think its: Beatles - Yellow Submarine
So you been to school
For a year or two
And you know you've seen it all
In daddy's car
Thinkin' you'll go far
Back east your type don't crawl
Again... seems i must pull easier songs, nobody knows the Dead Kennedys and their geat song Holiday In Cambosia... easier... hmm... maybe this one:
And now, the end is here
And so I face the final curtain
My friend, I'll say it clear
I'll state my case, of which I'm certain
Ok, its old, but i think everyone knows this evergreen and hear it several times, intended or unintended^^
Frank sinatra - my way, atleast that's what i think it is
oh and i do know dead kennedys thank you
Sweet berries ready for two ghosts are no different than you.
Ghosts are now waiting for you.
Dreaming! Dreaming the night! Dreaming all right!

Question! by S.O.A.D.
I saw...so below
To the bottoms to the tops
From the havens through the earth
Say my prayers around the clocks
Traditions from my home
Godfather passed the torch
But I lost my way
Kings of Men - Dancing Lotus and Elliot Morris.
Rise from the dead you said
Secrets don't sleep 'til they're took to the grave
Signal the sirens, rally the troops
Ladies and gentlemen,
It's the moment of truth
Mino should get this easily...
Again... seems i must pull easier songs, nobody knows the Dead Kennedys and their geat song Holiday In Cambosia...
I actually knew that one! >:O
I actually knew that one! >:O
well, lil too late^^
And if im not failing here, you go on with Shadow Moses - Bring Me The Horizon... maybe you know this one:
Faster than a bullet
Enraged and full of anger
He's half man and half machine
Not too hard i think^^
I think it's Painkiller by Judas Priest.
Anyway, my lyrics:
The piercing radiant moon,
The storming of poor June,
All the life running through her hair,
Approaching guiding light,
Our shallow years in fright,
Dreams are made winding through my head
Is the recent posting of S.O.A.D. lyrics just for me =D
Spiders by System
People won't be people
When they hear this sound
That's been glowing in the dark at the edge of town
I feel bad because I had to search those lyrics. I just really don't want this thread to die. so yeah...
It is Atlas by Battles http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uv38m36-nsU
All I ever knew
when you left was suddently taken.
My skies no longer blue
and my fate mortally shaken
Pain from my pores meet
with the screams of sharpened cries
And who are you, the proud lord said,
that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat,
that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red,
a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord,
as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke,
that Lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall,
with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall,
and not a soul to hear.
