Let the fun begin. A few rules before you proceed:
1.Only one entry per person.
2.All entries off format or off topic are automatically disqualified.

I know we went over this already but it bears repeating. Thank you. Have fun!

Wolves? Not many things rhyme with 'Wolves', but okay.
Arctic Wolves

Look, in the snow,
It's an Arctic Wolf you know.
Don't see it, not abnormal,
It's as white as your should be oral.
The darkest it gets is grey,
But eyes blue to black they say.
In a white wonderland,
They look insignificantly bland.
It helps them escape their enemies,
But it's the cold that keeps them away from fleas.

Oi.
Sorry it was short I got stuck, and then decided whatever. And also sorry if I misused the word 'oral' in there, I just had to think of something white.

Cool Beans! People are entering!

MY ENTRY:
Da wolves sneak
For it is the prey peak.
They hunt and defend
But a message they must send,
Is that we live east,
and we are BEAST!

***Not my entry***

The Bridge of the Over

A bolt of energy,
A breeze from the sea.
A breath as dark as shadows,
A home that everybody knows.
A garden endless,
A vow that a happy one said.
A soldeir battle hardened,
A metal worker that will mend.
A wine that will make you dreary,
A walker, never weary.
A one happy as the sun,
A hunter, a lonely one.
One smart as clouds above,
One who only believes in love.

Okay another poem on Olympia. Every line represents a God or Goddess, in no particular order. From the top, these are the ones written about:

Zeus, Lord of Skies
Poseidon, Lord of Seas and Earthquakes
Hades, Lord of the Underworld
Hestia, Lady of Hearth
Demeter, Lady of Harvest
Hera, Lady of Marriage
Ares, Lord of War
Hephaestus, Lord of Fire
Dionysus, Lord of Wine and Grapes,
Hermes, Lord of Travellers
Apollo, Lord of the Sun
Artemis, Lady of the Hunt
Athena, Lady of War and Wisdom
Aphrodite, Lady of Love

Here are the results of this contest
Format: Doublets
Theme: Wolves

Third Place - Roccess
Arctic Wolves
Look, in the snow,
It's an Arctic Wolf you know.
Don't see it, not abnormal,
It's as white as you should be oral.
The darkest it gets is grey,
But eyes blue to black they say.
In a white wonderland,
They look insignificantly bland.
It helps them escape their enemies,
But it's the cold that keeps them away from fleas.

Not to steal your thunder or anything but this poem is somewhat colloquial. The construction is clumsy at times but the alliteration is beautiful. You make third place for your description, rhyming and alliteration. Keep trying!

Second Place - Schmiddy1234
Da wolves sneak
For it is the prey peak.
They hunt and defend
But a message they must send,
Is that we live east,
and we are BEAST!

Second place for thee, Schmiddy, my friend. Your rhyming is perfect and your alliteration is a subtle touch to such a casual poem. You grab second place for this work of art that seems somewhat hurried. Good work!

First Place - Jazmoon
Howls by the wind
Run, canter, slant gaze to fall,
Fur glazed, swept by chilling call.

Congratulations, Jazmoon!! You are the winner of this round. Your alliteration and assonance is cleverly integrated. I also noted a touch of consonance with the two words 'gaze' and 'glazed'. Your entry deserves first place for its fine wording and concision. Good work! Keep it up!
