Which way of typing color do you prefer,color or colour.I have a bunch of people at my school who write it like colour so i was wondering how many people here do

Definenlty colour but I've lived all my life in England. As far as I know a lot of the differences are because some people wanted to make the English language simpler. Which I suppose is understandable English is a very odd language; there's a mix of French and Germanic and Latin etc. Wikipedia has a good list of some of the differences and reasons.. The most interesting difference is with lieutenant. The UK/Commonwealth pronounce it LEFtenant and other LEWtenant. Though I know a few people in england who pronounce it LEW.

I dont like colour as much as color but i love using centre for center

Born and raised on color. What is the point in adding the "u"? To me it just seems like extra work.

I also feel the need to pronounce it differently when I see it spelled the British way.

There's no difference in pronunciation.
