You may think the priests aren't that helpful. Well... Think again. They help more than anything on the third level if you want to kill the other team. You'll also need them against the egyptian-like aliens more than anything, or you'll most likely lose everything there. It is simple though, really. Just build a cathedral firsthand, and upgrade the

spiritual mastery
skill to its fullest, and if you want the health minus, attack plus over time one. I did that, but the thing is, when your priests are about to reach the other side of a battlefield with low health, they die randomly because of that. So I would only put that to the 1st or 2nd tier. Also, upgrade the one with only 1 tier to upgrade. Anyways, the spiritual mastery is the most important part, because you can send out your more powerful units, and then send in 6-9 priests, and voile: They'll all begin to heal your powerhouse unit (the royal guards and perhaps crusaders [these will need to be upgraded eventually in each campaign for the most effect as well]) They heal so rapidly, its an unbeatable technique. The only place you might run into trouble with this strategy is at the last ninth and tenth levels (the last two), wherein you'll have a limited amount of resources and units, including priests, and the money you'd need to upgrade them with.
