The Story June 3rd, 2013 *A female TV Anchor begins to speak* 'This is a breaking news story: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, in a speech to the UN General Committee, has just pledged the destruction of Israel in a "pouring out of the Sun's wrath". The US and Israeli Representatives walked out of the speech, and were quick to denounce it. However, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation* head praised the speech afterwards, calling it a renewed "pledge of support to the Palestinian peoples who are currently repressed", and calling US and Israeli denunciations as "unnessasary fear mongering".' 'We'll give you more updates as new information comes in. Now for your local weather, bought to you by your local CNN affiliate...' June 7th, 2013 (The following is a copy of Israeli radio communications between an Arrow Missile Interceptor unit and Israeli Air Command) 'Command, Great Pine has scanned a potential bogey en route from Iran, over.' 'Copy Arrow-2. Have you ID'd the bogey, over.' 'Affirmative Command, the trajectory and flight path indicate a potential ICBM. We cannot confirm nor deny the presense of a nuclear payload. Possible targets include Tel-Aviv and Negev**. Permission to engage, over.' 'Permission authorized Arrow-2. Be aware that Civil Authorities have been alerted.' 'Copy Command. Trigger on missile. Brown Hazelnut has confirmed launch. T-Minus 15 seconds till intercept.' 'Be aware Arrow-2 that Iron Dome has picked up bogeys incoming from Gaza, over.' 'Copy Command. T-Minus 5 seconds till intercept... Sensors indicate a kill... Great Pine has confirmed.' 'Copy Arrow-2. Continue scanning for a second strike. Command out.' July 21st, 2013 (The Vice President is speaking at a meeting involving the top military brass) 'Gentlemen, the President has given authorization to execute Contingency Plan Bravo. A Navy task force will provide support to Marine Force Recon units as they assist the IDF in combating Iranian forces. A second Navy task force will engage Iranian Naval units as they exit the Persian Gulf.' 'Phase Two will involve the bulk of US Military Capabilities in leading the counterstrike. Our ultimate goal is the capture of Tehran, or a total surrender.' 'Any questions? No? Good. I want boots on the ground within 48 hours. Operation: Reigning Fury is a go.' *Also known as the OIC. It's the single largest voting bloc in the UN, and is comprised of countries with large Islamic populations, such as Iran, the UAE, and Yemen. **Location of Israeli Nuclear Research facilities. ____________________ Name: (Fairly obvious. Please have it reflect your allegiance, though.) All factions have a short, medium, and long range capable class, as well as a heavy weapons class. Between factions, differences in the classes include, but are not limited to, magazine sizes, weapon's ranges, round sizes, and firing capabilities (semi-auto, three round burst, and full auto). Before choosing a class, I recommend you look up the weapons used in that class so as to make the most knowledgable choice. IF YOU PICKED THE UNITED STATES AS YOUR ALLEGIANCE: The United States Armed Forces have sent the Marine First Recon to assist the IDF in holding back the Artesh as main war machine is mobilized. Civilian casulties are to be avoided, and only Iranian targets are to be engaged. Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon are not enemies, and as such are not to be engaged. A detailed list of the equipment used by the United States Marine Corp can be found here. -Assault: -Close Quarters: -Support Gunner: -Scout Sniper: IF YOU PICKED ISRAEL AS YOUR ALLEGIANCE: After intercepting the Iranian ICBM and the Hezbollah rockets, Israel now faces a massive ground assault by Iranian Forces from Jordan, Syria, and Lebanon. These countries are not openly hostile, and as such only Iranian positions are viable military targets. Israel cannot afford to lose this conflict, and faces irradication if it does. As such, the Artesh must be pushed back. A detailed list of the equipment used by the Israeli Defense Force can be found here. -Assault: -Close Quarters: -Support Gunner: -Scout Sniper: IF YOU PICKED IRAN AS YOUR ALLEGIANCE: After the failed destruction of Israel by Nuclear Attack and Hezbollah rocket attacks, the main goal of the Iranian Army, or Artesh, is to eliminate Israeli forces and occupy all territory in Palestine. This is to be done as quickly as possible, regardless of the costs. While Iran stands alone in the conflict, other Arab nations have pledged support in secret diplomatic cables provided Iran can achieve success in its campaign. Therefore all Israeli and American positions, regardless of its function, are viable. A detailed list of equipment used by the Artesh can be found here. -Assault: -Close Quarters: -Support Gunner: -Scout Sniper: The 30/30 in the ammunition tab indicates 30 rounds in a magazine of 30. As rounds are deplinished, the first number will deplete until it reaches 0. Once the magazine is emptied, a new one will be used and the number in brackets, [3], will decrease by one. When the bracketed number reaches number, and the current magazine is depleted, more ammuniton must be found for that weapon. You can replenish your ammuniton stores by finding ammuniton that is compatible with your weapon. You cannot use ammuntion that your weapon is not chambered for. Some weapons can be chambered for different rounds, but this can only be done in the level up shop. The level up shop is only avaliable upon leveling up. Upon accessing the level up shop, you can buy attachments for your weapon, weapon modificataions, and one-time use 'cards', which include airstrikes and vehicular support. If you have any questions regarding equipment, terms and acronyms, or anything regarding the game itself, feel free to ask me. I'll try to answer your question to the best of my capabilities. The first four players that sign up will be allowed to play. After that, a list will be formed of those who would like to play. Slots will be awarded on a first come, first serve basis. Should you die, you may start over with a new character unless there are others waiting to play. Should that be the case, you will be put at the bottom of the list if you would still like to play. I reserve the right to deny any and all users access to this game at any time, and I reserve the right to do this without providing any reason what-so-ever. And remember, Stay Alert - Stay Alive. Cheers. |

Very good. Though I would change your last name to something decidedly less Islamic. Here is a list of Knesset members you could pull a last name from. |

It is preferable, yes. But if it prooves to be a problem, a temporary exemption can be mad.
No worries. Name: Jarith Ezra Fixed a few aesthetic things. Shall we begin now? |

Sure, and considering I'm on an iPod could I go without a sheet until I have computer access,it's hard to refine the copy option on something that long. |

Sure thing. I'll only post it for the time being if something on it changes. JC: Since the mobilization of Israeli forces, you've been stationed with your unit at a border checkpoint in the Golon Heights. Besides preventing Iranian forces from penetrating Israeli territory, you've also been tasked with defending an Iron Dome installment some distance behind you. The checkpoint under your unit's control consists of several lines of barbed wire and a guard tower, as well as a reinforced concrete pillbox. The land is slightly hilly and rocky, and Iranian lines are about a thousand yards away. The sun is beginning to rise, but its still relatively dark, as its around 500 hours. From your position on a hummock overlooking the area, you see a sudden barrage of rockets come over from Iranian lines. The Iron Dome emplacement begins to take them out, and sporatic small arms fire begins to come in. What do you do? (Though let us assume you always react from now on) |

Name: Jarith Ezra Negetor, Skeletor. You've got a standard, six-power scope thats effective up to 1000 yards. Attachments will come later. You begin to engage the approaching Iranians. They're at the extremem limits of your effective range, and you have to fire a few shots to get your range (-5 rounds). You don't score any hits however. The rest of your unit is holding their fire until they enemy gets closer. |

Name: Jarith Ezra I hold too. I wait until the enemy is at a distance where my shots will be somewhat effective. I aim and fire 5 shots. |
