Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.

I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.

http://www.nicegraphics.com/chow/baconfest/syrup.jpg

The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.

Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.

^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.

And, of course, the Canadian classic...

If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.

Forget the ingredients, why is there no information at all as to where any of those burgers are served?

For those of you who remember the Memphis BBQ burger I mentioned briefly on page 60 (the image has failed since then; the description is below the image of the Oktoberfest burger), it may interest you to know that I finally got around to trying it.

http://www.grubgrade.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/Memphis-BBQ-Burger.jpg

It was a great burger, as Carl's Jr burgers generally are, but I was disappointed by how little pork was actually on it. The image shows there being about as much pork as there is beef on the burger, but in reality there's almost no pork at all; even the onion straws take up significantly more vertical space than the pork.

I only wish I lived in the right area for BK's Memphis BBQ pulled pork sandwich to be available.

http://www.bigwaynerbbq.com/wp-content/uploads/images/Burger-Kings-Memphis-BBQ-Pulled-Pork-San_FAC6/bk-memphis-bbq.png

I also wished Europe would share its BK sandwiches with the rest of the world.

http://static2.businessinsider.com/image/504667bdecad04573b000003/burger-king-rodeo.jpg

That BBQ sandwich sporting onion rings and three beef patties would definitely be an adequate substitute for the McRib (sniff), and that Rodeo Chicken Royale would certainly also be worth trying.

Forget the ingredients, why is there no information at all as to where any of those burgers are served?

I couldn't find any information on any of them on any other site, either. I'll admit I do have my fair share of doubts about the Cheese & Burger Society.

I wish that the pictures on the carl's Jr burgers, or any fast food restaurant were actually what they served. I went to carl's Jr a couple years ago for the Hawaii-themed burger I always saw on the TV, It looked delicious on TV but when I got there I was unpleasantly surprised with a half the size burger than I was expecting, but it's good marketing . Anyways, the Memphis BBQ burger looks pretty good. Never had onion rings on my burger before though.

So how's it taste? Like Pepsi mixed with McDonald's sweet tea.

And was that a good flavor? Or was it just overwhelming sweetness lacking in flavor? Neither Pepsi nor McTea seem to have much of a flavor other than "sweet"... =P

It was a great burger, as Carl's Jr burgers generally are

Uhh... have you tried their turkey burger lately? It's like eating the inside of a pillow!

But that BBQ burger does look good... shame it wasn't at all like the advertisement tried to portray it, but I guess that's nothing new when it comes to food advertising!

@ European BK
You know it's European because they serve "chilli" cheese bites... American BK may come up with some weird stuff but they don't let spelling errors slip by in their advertisements!

It looked delicious on TV but when I got there I was unpleasantly surprised with a half the size burger than I was expecting, but it's good marketing

Fast food burgers ALWAYS look bigger in the ads than they do in real life... the Big Mac has been getting teased for years because of its diminutive size in relation to most other popular fast food burgers. The Whopper has really been letting the Big Mac have it for years now...

http://fastfoodfromtheinside.files.wordpress.com/2011/12/whopper2.jpg

But, size aside, I like both burgers because they taste good! =)

I don't know if this is 100% true, but a while back I went to a school assembly. This guy who was speaking said he went to Japan and in a Japanese restaurant the menu said that it was serving fish semen. This may not be a specific food flavour, but that is pretty bizarre.

I just looked it up, and apparently milt (fish semen) is a delicacy in Japan! Herring milt is eaten in Russian cuisine along with the pickled herring, and tuna milt is used as a pasta topping in Sicilian cooking!

I'm not posting any images as to how it's obtained... you'll have to find those yourself! =P

Just got back from Outback Steakhouse. I honestly did not think I could eat as many greasy appetizers as I did and still be hungry for wood fire-grilled seafood, but I guess I learn something new about my stomach every day.

Among the various appetizers that my group ordered (yes, I was with a group; believe me, I'm as shocked as you are) were deep-fried mushrooms and bacon cheese fries, but my personal favorite was Outback's signature dish, the Bloomin' Onion.

http://cdn.inquisitr.com/wp-content/2010/11/veterans-day-2010-freebies.jpg

It's basically a deep-fried onion, but it's cut specially to give it that "blooming" appearance. I'm not sure if it was incredibly delicious or filled with MSG, but nobody else really wanted it, so I ended up eating almost the whole thing on my own. At 1,949 calories, I have to say I'm impressed with myself.

It looked delicious on TV but when I got there I was unpleasantly surprised with a half the size burger than I was expecting

Gravity doesn't seem to exist in the world of burger advertisements. In the ads, all the ingredients are equally prominent because they're separated from one another almost unnaturally. In reality, the top bun falls over the rest of the burger and squishes everything together.

So it isn't so much a larger burger in the ads as it is a taller burger.

Uhh... have you tried their turkey burger lately? It's like eating the inside of a pillow!

I always forget about that one. It is remarkably flavorless, even for a turkey burger. I'm going to go out on a limb and say you read Men's Health magazine.

the Big Mac has been getting teased for years because of its diminutive size in relation to most other popular fast food burgers.

Again, it's easy to make a burger look big if it's taller than it is wide. The Big Mac is an example of a burger that can potentially look massive in a photograph because it gives off the illusion of being tall.

However, you have to respect the Big Mac because, while other burgers have gotten larger over the years to appeal to, shall we say, larger people, the Big Mac has remained the same size since it was introduced in 1967. I'm sure it was a reasonably big burger for its time.

Last time I had a Big Mac was June 2011. I could go for one right now if I wasn't so full from that Bloomin' Onion.

This guy who was speaking said he went to Japan and in a Japanese restaurant the menu said that it was serving fish semen.

They serve fish eggs, why not serve the fertilizer to go with it?

Just as long as they're served separately. I'd feel like a birth control pill if I ate the two together.

http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab198/tegan190/Armor%20games%20Pics/Boogers.jpg I tried these "boogers" the other day and they were horrible. tasted like a watered down can of sprite, in gummy form. not to mention they were called boogers, which made it even harder to eat without gagging. not trying those again for sure.

http://i863.photobucket.com/albums/ab198/tegan190/Armor%20games%20Pics/Chicken.jpg
Kids at my school constantly eat these, they say they taste like mango, but I don't understand the chicken. I thought they were chicken flavor, and im not completely sure there not. I think i'll try these soon, kids at school sell them.

*salutes Big Mac*

God Bless America.

@ Boogers
Just another weird candy made to gross people out... though from the description you've given, it does sound better than Bertie Bott's booger bean, which just tastes like a plastic Ziploc bag!

I tried one of those once, believe it or not. I believe red peppers are one of the ingredients, which makes absolutely no sense to me. They aren't chicken-flavored or mango-flavored, though--they're peach-flavored.

I was as confused as you are when I tried my first roasted chicken lollipop.

It does look pretty good, but I think it's your heart that will be blooming if you become addicted to calorie counts like that!

I've found a few bizarre candies that (I think) haven't been posted yet. It seems they are real, but I still can't believe that somebody came up with these ideas. They had a very strange sense of humour.

Hose nose: a plastic nose that you put on your face. Squeeze it and stick out your tongue to catch the liquid candy.

http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q550/kegaumongo/HoseNose.jpg

Chocka ca-ca!: chocolate pieces wrapped in diapers. Pretty gross, if you ask me.

http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q550/kegaumongo/Chockaca-ca.jpg

Camel balls: definitely not the best name for a chewing gum, but let the picture speak for itself.

The diaper one is the worst. The camel balls don't look too bad and I wouldn't have any problem with any of the others, but I could not eat anything out of anything that looked like a diaper.

Love the bloomin onion, by the way. I'd be there but there's no Outback anywhere near where I live.

Strangely enough, the roasted chicken lollipop was posted in last year's thread as well. I don't know what we would have done without Floyd.

I'd be there but there's no Outback anywhere near where I live.

Do you hear that faint sound? You might think it's your tongue wallowing in disappointment, but it's actually your arteries thanking God for another day of life.

Lol, those are all equally as weird as the next! The urine sample is my favorite because it actually looks somewhat real unlike most of the others, though the baby poo and the blood tie for a close second! The orange-flavored Lincoln head pops are also absolutely bizarre, as are these watermelon-flavored Freud pops...

http://www.crazyasabagofhammers.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/06/Watermelon-Flavored-Sigmund-Freud-Head-Pops.jpg

...these cherry-flavored Marie Antoinette head pops...

....and these cola-flavored Lenin head pops...

As for odd "gross" candies, you can't go wrong with severed body part sushi...

Or ear wax...

Or "manly" Jelly Belly flavors!

That's an actual burger from Texaco. Doesn't look so appetizing, but what can you expect from gas station food?

My gass station sells sushi. People I know ate it and actually enjoyed it. But I do know some weird people. Like Santa Clause. Biggest. Pedo. Evar.
Moving on then.
I find it funny how in Europe, you have all these incredibly fat, disgusting, greasy foods. They take American fast food and... make it more American. We have to step up our game ladies.
