Since the popular thread from 2011 has gone to hell with outdated images, false page redirections and 4 blank pages of deleted posts, I think it's time to start anew for the 2012 community.

I'll start out by posting some strange (but real) sodas I found on Google. You can be the ones to determine whether or not you'd ever try any of them.

http://steveandamysly.tannerworld.com/databank/2006/image_jonessoda_2006_holiday_holidaypack_antacidflavored_review3.jpg

The label on the last one is real, but the flavor is fake. You'll have to learn the Jones way of doing things.

Chips are another favorite when it comes to bizarre flavors.

^ Those BLT chips are actually not too bad.

And, of course, the Canadian classic...

If you know of any strange flavors or you just happen to find some online, post them here. Pictures are always appreciated.

Salted caramel actually sounds good to me. Is that messed up?

I would much rather have kimchi Pringles.

Over spring break, I bought a jar of King's kimchi at the local grocery store. I only got through about half of it, because it didn't have the right amount of spice for kimchi. The store only had spicy (shown below) and mild. I figured spicy would be too spicy, so I went with mild, but it was too mild. It wasn't bad--I would sit and eat it out of the jar and once I even put it on toast--but next time I eat kimchi, it's going to be from a Korean restaurant.

veggie Pirate's Booty.

I tried that stuff when I was maybe 7 or 8. Just the smell of it was enough to trigger a minor flash headache (lasted a fraction of a second each time). Never again.

Kimchi is variable depending on where you go. Some places make it so hot it's inedible, whereas others apparently don't make it quite hot enough, though the latter is much less common in restaurants.

This kimchi burger was posted about a million pages back, but as I recall, nobody really talked about it, so here it is making its second MBFF 2013 appearance.

http://insendai.files.wordpress.com/2010/06/kimchi-burger.jpg

A cousin of the kimchi burger, on the kimchi side of course, is the kimchi and bacon pizza, which is so spectacular, the image of it will not fit on the page.

Only one slice at a time can fit on the page.

Spam with cheese? I don't see any cheese, unless....did they find a way to mix cheese into the little individual bits of spam? Or is the cheese just not melted for some reason and instead in the form of small cubes?

My favorite part about that picture is how they chose to advertise it: in a flaky dough shell with green bell peppers mixed in. Because that's how people who buy spam with cheese are going to eat it.

Also, tinned full monty:

It wouldn't be much if it wasn't for those large sausages. They make the name so much more fitting, so to speak.

I was also unclear as to what a bacon steak was, as it is listed as one of the ingredients, so I looked it up, and apparently they are a thing.

I don't know what I'm more afraid of....the AIDS themselves, or how the hotdogs acquired them in the first place.

The full monty is not as inedible looking as it's alternate form, all day breakfast, which contains egg nuggets:

Lovely Spam, wonderful Spam. What about ham?

This oddity is from the Netherlands. Are these crisps weird to anyone else or am I just conservative when it comes to food?

In Berlin, weissbier mit schuss is popular. This is a wheat beer with flavoured syrup added. This gives the head an unusual stiff texture. One popular syrup flavour is woodruff, which makes it taste medicinal. It also makes it bright green.

Mmm, I wouldn't say this is odd. I think this is not the weirdest chip flavour we've seen on this thread. To be honest, it looks quite appetizing. Though I haven't tried those, my guess is that it tastes like bacon flavoured chips.

However, these two are a bit weird to me. Probably posted before and they're from Japan (obviously).

Strawberry flavoured chips. At first sight, this seems awful. It's one of these combinations that doesn't make sense to me, but you never know. Maybe it's excellent.

http://i1163.photobucket.com/albums/q550/kegaumongo/strawberrycheetos_zps07b31323.jpg

And Pepsi flavoured chips. I would give it a try, just out of curiosity, to see if they actually taste like Pepsi or not.

They sound weird, but I would agree with @kegaumongo that from looking at them that they probably taste like bacon.

They are Cheetos, but as long as they aren't salty, the corn and strawberry combination could be alright. I can't say the same for the Pepsi sticks.

Please don't ask me how I found this next item.

http://bna-art.s3.amazonaws.com/www.bootsnall.com/articles/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/fish-chips-gelato.jpg

Who here would try this, and eat the whole thing? I would, if only it was dairy-free.

Also, it's apparently available exclusively in Australia, so @DrElmer, I'm counting on a review from you.

which contains egg nuggets:

I'm just going to assume that those are what chicken nuggets hatch from.

I searched for egg nuggets on Google, and I actually found a result via Yelp.

http://s3-media4.ak.yelpcdn.com/bphoto/HAppPBmaiL5JYI4TeFbXFQ/l.jpg

According to Yelp, this location has closed. At least now we know why.

This oddity is from the Netherlands. Are these crisps weird to anyone else or am I just conservative when it comes to food?

I would consider it a weird flavor just because it's off the wall, but it's one of those flavors where the idea behind it is much more surprising than what it actually taste like. As others have said, odds are they taste like bacon chips.

In Berlin, weissbier mit schuss is popular.

Putting sweet syrup in beer. I expected this from the French, and perhaps the Dutch or the Scandinavians, but never the Germans. They respect their beer too much to contaminate its natural flavors.

However, the fact that they made cheese using beer....the same type of beer might I add....comes as no surprise to me.

My best guess would be that, since chocolate Cheetos exist alongside their strawberry counterparts, and since both flavors are exclusive to Japan, they were released in response to the popularity of Pocky.

http://thejapans.files.wordpress.com/2011/11/pocky.jpg

http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m1xvmbNgsy1qzb9hgo1_400.jpg

So in conclusion, they probably taste more like Pocky than they do what we know as Cheetos.

And Pepsi flavoured chips. I would give it a try, just out of curiosity, to see if they actually taste like Pepsi or not.

It has to be better than deep-fried Pepsi.

I take that back. I'll try just about anything deep-fried.

I would like to find this ice cream store. Four of their flavors are weird and the other four are even weirder.
