Did Stern fine the Spurs? I haven't heard anything yet.

Yep. $250,000 fine on the basis of the Spurs' action being a "disservice to the league and [its] fans."

I guess it makes sense. The NBA cares about the fans and if they didn't keep it a secret, they probably wouldn't have gotten fined or Stern would not let them rest the big 3.
Did you see Howard hit that three?

I think it's a ridiculous rule. Granted, going into the game, it seemed like it'd be a lopsided match, but those no-name roleplayers nearly beat the reigning champions. The game was a disservice to no one.
Only watched like three minutes of that game, so I didn't catch that three. But judging by the box score, this game should be exemplary of what the Lakers should be doing, i.e. limiting Kobe's shots and making him the facilitator (until Nash returns), feeding it to Dwight Howard, and giving Antawn Jamison more minutes.

That's what I said earlier.

But it's all good, you only have about 2-3 months until this might end.

What do you mean? Doesn't Stern leave in 2014? Or are you referring to something else?

Looks like it paid off for the Spurs. Ginobili and Green had poor games, but both Parker and Duncan had some of their best games of the season. And more importantly, they won against a division rival, the team that holds the best record in the NBA.
Also, anyone know of Damian Lillard before he came into the NBA? In fact, does anyone know who he is now? Dude's ballin' like no other right now. He may become the favorite to win Rookie of the Year, even over Anthony Davis.

No I didn't know much about college basketball at all really. I only knew who Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Harrison Barnes, Anthony Davis, Tyler Zeller, and Austin Rivers were. But about Damian Lillard, checking his stats, he's doing great for a rookie. In the next few years, we might look at him and say he's an elite point guard.
