instead of forums we have chat rooms.  This would meen e would have to have mods.  And for mods, we could use maybe around 50 or so beta testers. For example

snail-mail is to e-mail
also I think that if we did implement this rule, e could maybe base it on the online-game Pawn rules.  Where mods can either ban u for life or for 24 hours based on the severity of the bad thing u did.  So Yeah  i just wanted to put my idea out here.

Just becaause we beta the site doesn't make us responsible.

Some of us may not even come back to the site.

So we would have inactive irresponsible mods.

1. Are you guys even beta testers? I don't remember seeing you on the beta site.
2. How 'bout an IRC channel?

the forum is fine..chat rooms would make it too complicated

Problem with chatrooms is that if someone has a suggestion
It needs to be done when the mods/admins are on
with a Forum they can reply in a matter of hours or days and you can check up on if they replied or not
and see what they have to say without having to inconvience the user by making them be ready to tell you at a set time
Mods cant make themselves availible 24 hours a day and Chatrooms pretty much turn to crap in the wee hours of the morning as Most people are asleep and anyone not asleep is saying something stupid
Forums can be moderated for this type of problem
and it gives people an activity that can be done once or twice a day
and you wont loose in a discussion if you sign out
because its still there
