how does the number of game plays work?

i was just wondering how it worked because you'll see that kingdom rush has 27,000,000 plays but there are only 2,000,000 AG members and i doubt that at least 24,000,000 people play on AG but don't have accounts

I think game plays is not the number of different people that play the game, but the number of times the game page is accessed.

Why is that so hard to believe? Some people just come to play games when they're bored. Logging in and logging out is an extra two steps if that's all you're here for. Why bother making an account if you have no reason to log in?

It's different for a lot of games featured here on ArmorGames... some games are popular and get revisited (played) a lot, like KingdomRush is. Mostly the multiplayer games and the games with a heap of achievements to get are subject to a lot of plays most of the time. ;)
