The path of GemCraft continues, bigger and meaner than ever...

GemCraft is a unique tower defense game, where, instead of towers, gems are your main weapons to fight the endless hordes of monsters coming for you.

Place your gems in either towers, traps, or amplifiers, replace and switch them as you want, combine them to create more powerful gems with various abilities, drop them as gem bombs or activate powerful buildings, the possibilities are endless, the choice is yours!

Fight your way through an epic storyline, unfolding mysteries and facing sinister enemies and artifacts, as you try to entrap the Forgotten, an archdemon with an unknown agenda and no known way to kill, and to slay down her demonic avatars, the shadows. Fierce and desperate battles await you...

GAME FEATURES (some available after purchasing the Magician's Pouch):

Change log for v. 1.1.4 - 2015.I.26.:
  • Fixed: some tree covered fields showed being buildable after demolishing pre-placed structures
  • Gems target fewest hp beacons first now
  • Basic gem range (before modifiers) got a hard limit of 48 tiles
  • Gem range can be decreased with the mouse wheel (combining sets the larger range ratio), 1 step = 5%, can't go below 1 tile
  • Winning a field's endurance (999 waves) gives a distinctive purple marker to the field's token in the world map
  • The first 3 achi tag filters (amplifier, apparition, armor) previously hidden by error are shown now
  • New achi filters during battle: Unlocked if won, Made progress, Can be unlocked
  • Achi related fixes
  • Tutorial and Stats: new buttons on the map screen (tutorial will be filled with rereadable content later)
  • Old stat pages' contents are moved from the journey notes to the new button
  • Field xp list: can be accessed via the new Stats button

  • Fixed the outcome panel xp infobox ‘Killed monsters total’ value
  • Fixed displaying some numbers in exponential notation (those that are shown with fixed precision when in small range, e.g. mana leeching)
  • Fixed: gems with bolt enhancement didn’t fire at anything with their normal shot if a dropholder or a bolt lock in the gem’s normal range was selected

  • Fixed killing special entities not counting towards the kill chain

Hello Everyone,

A new build of GC2:CS is out!
Unless there are any critical errors in it, this is the last post of the year, so we wish all of you a great winter holiday and a new year filled with exciting games to play! :-)

Change logs:
v. 1.1.2 – 2014.XII.22.:

  • Fixed achievements: Under pressure, Bestial wave
  • Fixed: mousewheel didn’t work in the achievements panel during battle
  • Shadows release spawnlings faster and (at higher levels) in smaller numbers
  • New option: show wall info panels (off by default)
  • Specters and apparitions can’t move while the gui is locked by the Forgotten
  • New number format above 10^12
  • Hatred trait has 10 levels and lowered hp multipliers
  • Some skills were swapped in the skills panel
  • Fixed a bunch of ‘use only gem type x at field y’ achievements
  • Fixed: batch creating gems with ctrl-click could cost too much (even pushing mana below zero) if some of the inventory slots were taken and there was enough mana to fill the rest (cause: not finding an empty slot for a newly created gem subtracted the mana again instead of refunding)
  • Highest banishment cost priority point is removed, lag is mysteriously gone
  • Fixed a typo too

v. 1.1.1 – 2014.XII.9.:

  • Fixed: batch throwing bombs on sparks took only one bomb’s mana cost
  • Wizard level cap of 10.000 removed
  • Fixed: flickering ‘+0 chain length’ amplifier bonus for gems with no chain hit component
  • Added ‘If you can’t see your online saved games, please try logging in again.’ text
