    Nah, that's okay.  I don't really get why people think they need to rip on new people when they make a thread that's "against the rules" when it's nothing to get too worked up about.  I remember when I first came to the site and made a thread, I tried doing the BB code in the title (I later found out that it doesn't work there) and one of the moderators said I failed :(
