   I read your comment about gemcraft 0 being too hard.  I hope you’re not comparing it to chapter 1, because chapter 1 was easy once past level 40, and many thought it was too short.  Responding to this feeling, the author made a more difficult game: gemcraft 0...which I personally think is set at just the right difficulty for anyone who figured out gemcraft 1 on their own, but can be made more difficult (yay!) by not playing the extra modes, or by not spending all the skill points.  No, it's not too hard. It just requires more thought, and more precise calculations on the part of the player…especially when "angering" to make a wave more rewarding, as that wave becomes more difficult as well.
