   Over here in the UK we normally call the man in the tower flyco, short for Flight Controller, although the official name is Air Traffic Controller.

   In the RAF, you would probably be a junior airman of some sort, but I get your drift.

   I have flown Harrier GR7s for a year and recently made the transfer to GR9s. My sqn is transferring to F35s late next year, and so I'm looking forward to that.

   Do you know what equipment (which jets) you would be working with, or is it too early in the process to tell?
