Hi, i posted this on at rebuild 2, but theres a always a good chance to miss that, so here is the answer too:
Yes, let the scientist in, after a while he asked for help (nother scientist), allow that... after that it can take a while, there will be an explosion then, the lab is overrun by zombies again, you can retake it then, after that... nother while later you are allowed to finish his studys, you can send them some of your poeple on a lab (iis equal which one you choose then), the rest is research-time^^
