How to use trial stones: Look at the trial stone, it has a "level" to it. Your level must be within 4 (high or low) of the trial stone level. Take the trial stone to the witch and combine it with a stone of blessing, you'll receive what looks like a portal. Double click on the portal and your in the battle. There are 2 screens in the battle, the 1st one easy, the 2nd one is you fighting your shadow, tough to beat.
