   No, he's not afraid to read our comments and he isn't afraid of you. I think he would prefer if I would temporarily monitor the thread while he continues to pursue more calming subjects.

   He's also been coaching me in the finer arts of debate that I will share with you and the others.

   You and I could both stand to tone it down a bit.  Throw the true outstanding qualities of Lincoln, Grant and others equally with the points that we disagree with, instead of BASHING.
   I must admit once I started rereading my old posts, yes, I photocopied some of my old arguments,  I was throwing superiority around as if I were playing tournament basketball.

   We need to pace ourselves and spread out the facts more evenly, not his words, mine.
   The more control we can display  in the forums the more practice you'll receive before graduation, again my words not his.

   I'm just doing this for fun and yes, so I can regain my lost key-stroke speed and also to learn my computer better.

   Trust me, not all northerners beleive that the war was over slavery alone. Yes, many of us still back the Union, but many northerners still hold quite a bit of respect for the Confederate soldiers.
