Hi GhostShadow, I'm glad you enjoyed Bubble Tanks 2.
I got the idea after a heavy brainstorming session. Essentially I wanted to design a casual shooter that everyone would enjoy- and give players the ability to subconsciously choose the game's difficulty by either facing enemies or running away. Somehow, I came to Bubble Tanks.
The reason I don't let you go back to re-pick your upgrade path is:
1) I wanted people to play multiple times and still see something new. This would ensure they could explore new paths. Even new enemies pop up when you play repeatedly.
2) I wanted to keep the game simple. You choose a path, any path, and that's all you have to think about. You can forget strategy and simply get back to shooting tanks!
