Really good game. Short and simple, but very fun. I'm a big fan of pixel art, so I really love that

It really don't affect the game, but after seeing the ending, i think that really worths helping a bit, for your next release

Your game is decent, but talking about putting more features in a short game like that seems pointless.
Making another game, while learning from the mistakes from the previous ones to make an even better game is the choice you should choose.
My trivial feedback is that from the art style I saw and the controls I felt, making an 8-bit platformer with rpg elements such as upgrades and unlockables would be the next step, it will definitely be a learning curve in your new beginning as a flash developer.
