Oh, the complexity getting to you?
try chapter 1 for a bit-it's a bit simpler, and easier; you can beat it just about any way you want.

gemcraft? confusing?
perhaps you'd like an explanation:
you use gems to attack enemies.
In order to get the gems to attack the enemies, they need to be placed in towers.
you can combine any two gems; however, it is a bad idea to combine gems that have only one grade of difference.
certain types of gems (pure, dual, prismatic) recieve bonuses. prismatic is bad untill you can make grade 11+, then it rules the roost.
you can anger waves to make them more rewarding (score, and mana given), but they also become more dangerous.
lastly, you can spend points on skills between levels; bringing focus to level 5-7 is essential, do this as soon as you possibly can.
you can reaarange your points as needed.
