A merit is a very well written comment on a game. Voting up a comment(the green arrow on the right for example) will send the comment to a moderator and they can reward it as a merit. Good grammer and spelling improve the chance of earning it. Merits are worth 25 AP, which is worth it because regular comments are worth 2 AP. So, try to go for one! Believe me I've tried, but I do not earn one. They're honestly hard to get.

Well, you just go to a game and there is the game screen. You scroll up a little and you will see a heart with a plus on it. Click it and it will favorite that game along with the plus disappearing. There is also a bug in which when you try to favorite a game but it takes you back to the homepage. This bug is unknown of reason, and it happens to me also.
