you would use [ and ] < and > are html brackets, and they aren't allowed on AG.

bbcode is also known as forum code. On AG they even limit the bbcode. You are only allowed to use bold, italics, url, and img.
You can't use any code in the comments, but you can in your about(except image). You can use all of them in the forums.

[url=http://www.google.com/]Google[/url]

That's how you would use each tag. you HAVE to end each tag with [/ and then the tag, like b [/b] It's derived from html.
