  1. Storm in me

    The nightmares cloud my thoughts,
All the vicious battles I have fought.
If only you know the turmoil in me,
Give me salvation to set them free.

A psychological rack to play on,
The emotional wave crashes and I am gone.
Swept along by the torrential rain,
I feel fatigued and mentally drained.

It is a storm within my body,
To ride high on regret and folly.
I have tried to make amends,
I fly upon the wings Heaven sends.

A civil war tears my heart apart,
A thousand cruel arrows and barbed darts.
    Tossed upon the sharp rocks,
Around me the crows and ravens flock.

If only I had stopped and seen,
The roses red and meadows green.
But it is too late the storm is here,
To rip apart all I hold dear.

It is a storm within my body,
To ride high on regret and folly.
    Just forgive me I beg,
I surrender and hold the white flag.

I am drowning in my words,
Just pierce me with the swords.
A coven of witches laugh and cackle,
    My fire weakens and crackles.

The eye of a hurricane has no respite,
I lower my head in all your spite.
It is my fault and I know that,
    The tempest sprawls me flat.

It is a storm within my body,
To ride high on regret and folly.
I'll give anything to reverse time,
To wash it all away with quicklime.

The gale blows me off my feet,
    My confessions all I admit.
    I only seek your mercy,
Neither God's nor the Pope's clemency.

I see you smile and come,
Perhaps you'll forgive me for what I've done?
You say I'm silly to think like such,
The friendship worth more and much.

The storm thins to a halt,
    They have stopped the assault.
I'll wash this memory clean to nothingness,
There's no point to continue the weariness.

    Perhaps it's a stalemate,
Perhaps it's a twist of fate.
But I do not care of the story's end.
I'm just happy that we're still friends.

Must thank Jess for inspiration. Thanks! X

  2. What is life but a play?
Merely a nightmarish dream to while away?
    The pseudo-comedy of the Gods,
    Or the Conmans greatest Fraud?
A soulless tragedy by the Devil?
    Wanton chaos which He revels.
A glittery masque in which the Fool dances,
    As the Jester merrily prances.
    Wild as the untamed Stallion,
A wondrous ride on the wooden Galleon.
The lonely Stone Path which heroes venture,
A mighty Bronze Gate none will enter.
    An empty unlighted Void,
Tiny minute Specks to be destroyed.
A Renaissance scene the Artists paint,
    The Madman his actions quaint.
What is life but a play?
    To this none can say.
A Timeless Mystery for the ages,
    Paragraphs in the Cosmos pages

Note* Roult didn't win, he was asking for comments.

  3. Fuzzy little man peach, taking in air
Who are you trying to fool?
    Fishing right there?
You made a bad catch, you cannot bicker
    The hook's in his head
    Foolish mother licker
Now don't despair, he's pleased to meet you
    You ever go clubbing?
You ever drunk bailey from a shoe?
You made your assessment, he knows what you think
    He's a scaly man fish
    Now careful, don't blink
He's got something to show you, what a sight
    He's sharing his secret
    His mangina light!
Wake in Gregg's place, where are you at?
    A suspicious cave
    Don't lose your hat
You can't leave now, why would you plead?
    Bailey and Gregg
    What more do you need?
Look at his water paintings, sharing his art
    Of Old Gregg and Baileys
    All touching your heart
Now is the question, is it true love?
    You might as well agree
    Or hang from above
Now's the time, can you see
    Love games playing
    "Do you love me?"

  4. A blazing fire, raged out of control,
The smell of home turning to ash,
    Crying families,
    Pointing fingers,

    One person still trapped inside,
A mother calls out for her child,

A man in red, clothed in courage,
Appearing from the flames, child in his arms,
    Saving yet another life,

    This is not me

The woman beside starts to cry,
Narrating the horrific events that aspired,
    A drunken husband,
    A frightening bout,

The edge of a bridge, wanting to end it all,
Asking the watery deep below to set her free,

    The man beside smiles,
Assures that everything will be alright,
    Saving yet another life,

    This is not me

A bare white corridor adorned with doors,
An unconscious father, pushed on a stretcher,
    Two sons,
    One daughter,

Mother's embrace, an attempt to comfort,
Trying to hide the tears she feels inside,

A man in white working hastily, before it is too late,
Walking into the waiting room, face arrayed with a smile,
    Saving yet another life,

    This is not me

A far off land, abound with famine,
Hungry eyes, not more than four years old,
    Ragged clothes,
    Skinny arms,

    Mother embraces her only child,
Wondering if he will live to five,

Men and women atop a truck,
Unloading packages, feeding a mother's treasured child,
    Saving yet another life,

    This is not me

Day by day, she goes to work,
Coming home only to clean and comfort,
    A roof over our heads,
    Food on our table,

Thanking for her concern the only way a child knows how,
A warm embrace, wrapping appreciative arms around her,
    Saving yet another life,

    This is me

  5. School a sanctuary or a cell?

She walks down the hall, eyes open wide
Moving her head side to side

    Watching, waiting, hoping in vain
Then as expected, in a flash

A hand pushed her books form her hands
They tumble to the floor, and land with a thump

They laughter behind her, grows louder each day
But her mind blocks it out and
    Her thoughts pull her away

Everyday is the same, no different, no change
The only think that keeps her, from going insane
Is the dream she hides away, unseen

The bullies walk away, moving on to other games
A single tear runs down her cheek

Her thoughts swirl inside her head
Why me, not them? Why do they cause me such dread?
She lets her thoughts change to
The things she must do that day

She walks into class, and sees the bullies snicker

    Something inside her breaks
The only thing that was keeping her at bay

She raises her fist and say "hay, don't just sit there
Lets play" the mock in her voice was clearly heard

And the others were silence by the change in her
Then one got up and laughed an said
    "You don't have a chance"

The girl just smiled, she saw the fear in the other girls eyes

The same thing that she used to see,
When she looked in the mirror everyday.

    Suddenly the teacher came,
    She screeched, yelled, scream

The girls both stopped, dropped the evil gaze
    And both walked away.

    Nothing happened on that day
That would seem to change anything

But sense that day, she never again
    Was bothered by them
See its not that she was stronger, or that she was even taller

It was that she had courage, to stand up and fight
Most bullies at school want an easy victim

But if you show them you're mind is strong, and your not afraid
Then they wont bother, to bug you every day

Remember these words, keep them in mind
Next time you hear nasty words from a peer.
