Ok here's some tips.
Hang in the forums a lot and try to make a 7 letter-non spam sentence.
I usually hang out in the religion,politics,...
Usually you canget a lot of AP for stating your opion. you can also get a lot from merits in the Art forum if you enter a contest. Other than that you might get a merit for a long comment for a game. Well other tha that have a good time!
