So one time, in class, we all started singing "If your happy and you know it".
Then it was only this one kid singing.
But we all kept clapping. Then when we all said the "hoorah!" part, we realized the principal was watching.

Hello, I just read your comment on Evil Forest...
There is a detailed walkthrough about everything in the game. You can reach it by pressing P to bring up the menu. There you will find the game journal with information about everything you've discovered so far.
Also, whenever you find a new item, you have two options. You can take it or first see more information about it by pressing i.
All of these abilities are very simple and clearly showed in the game. I have no idea how you missed it, but sorry.
