   Hello hippyman,
   About Opera browser, there is something i don't understand. I've tried to play a game of gemcraft with it. Then i've shut down my computer to simulate an electricity cut(not properly). At the restart of opera, i choose "start from last time" but even if the tab open with gem craft ... my game is gone. Are you sure this possible that your game can continue after a shut down ? If yes, do you know how to do that ?
