About
I began making games at the age of 12 and continued up until I reached college. Once college began I found I didn't have as much time to work on games but by my junior year I discovered how quick and easy flash is as a game building medium and I've been developing for flash ever since.

I put a hold for java because of school, but I'm starting again with some other hobbies, yolo (you only live once) so I'm gonna make the most of it.
just saying a proper thanks for the help, I might be creating games or programs and softwares in the distant future since my school revolves in that direction, and I enjoy programing alot so that's a double whammy. But I;m getting ahead of myself.
I was wondering how to create a regular executable file, since I'm running in circles with my current projects trying to mimic some of the features an executable file has. Thanks for the help in advance.

I still don't understand the connection between Photoshop and java, for instance, how to create a code for a specific part in the custom menu, do I make the buttons specially and make them objects, or do I need some new program to help me do all that, etc...
While you said div tags, and slicing tool, I still have no idea how I'm going to pull off making a pic clickable and useable. But like you said there are tons of tuts out there, so I'll manage.
Good to know, I'll look into that when I'm a little bit better at java.
I saw somewhere you can make .jar executable files, I'll research that when I get there. No use in getting way ahead of myself.
Thanks for all your help, and I'll probably need more in the near future :D
