By the way, that reseting issue will happen when the game is disconnected due to inactivity or some unknown reseting.

Does clearing the cookies works? It worked for me (getting back the rank in phage wars live) in "Internet Explorer", but if you are using other explorer, I think the chance of getting the rank back is slim since I know some of them have the similar case in Safari. They had to replay it......
