If you think Xbox live or a 360 and a Wii are too expensive doesn't that mean that a PS3 which is more than any of those(assumming you only get Xbox live for a few years because it's $50 per year if you have a 360 already) is too expensive? Plus for the 360, Wii and PS3 you would have to buy games and controllers. Whether you buy a PS3 or not, I think you are doing the right thing by asking others for advice. I would not buy one.
