3 staff of the holy empire and 2 zeus staff would be enough... if you still failed add a 3rd zeus staff, that should be enough.
Just start with hotkeys for quick spells/summons. Maybe cast rage earlier (not when the bar is full, and follow with units when possible (defenetly dont wait until your blue bar is full))
Maybe your problem is the "aggressive AI"? This is when the enemys hero walk left, that could be a problem... if thats the problem, just reload the page and play a quick other mission for an easy win (1-1^^) then he wont act aggressive.
you don't really need better equipment nor stats to beat 3-6
just start with some sharpshooters, rage them, then add some succubi and totems, then only raged succubi,
once you have over 85 units, send quick, strong melee, like valkyries
to avoid tigers use mana+ item, or use attack asap to summon first sharpshooters faster (but you can actually kill those tiger easily with succubi, if shielded with your hero for a moment)
It works with fire succubi only too, but that may require better stats... problem on this guy is that he can summon white tigers, if you spawn only succubi or succubi/alternate with another good ranged unit he wont summon them... if he do, youre dead^^
On your level melee units are to weak, so you must try it with range units, and the best and cheapest units at this point are succubi/matriarchs.
On the item-side the holy empire staffs are needed for the starting mana (allow you a very fast spawn/rage) and you need good stats to act as a shield for your units.
Its maybe a lil bit expensive at the first look, but the best way... and when you master that mission youll get an easy 450k gold (master missions is essential for the game).
Im not sure if there is a "cheaper" way, there surely some other ways (on much higher stats, or if you have access to a hero like sera), but this one is the "low-level"-way.
If you still failed you need better stats^^
No problem^^
The chapter 3 boss is the first "test" of your skills.
First you need good equipment (i would say 3 staffs of holy empire (cuz of +mana) and 2 or 3 zeus staffs).
Units... youll need fice succubi (fire temple), witch (thunder temple), holy matriarch (monster lab, here you need the witch).
Start the game by summon succubi, and walk with your hero (use popo) so that he is always in front of your units, just make sure you wont get in the range of the enemys thunder-storms, when your orange bar is full cast rage, followed by matriarchs, after this point just cast rage when your orange bar is full then cast a unit, alternate between succubi and matriarchs. your enemy will spawn archers... they dont do that much dmg on popo, but they have a knockback effect so you must adjust the position of popo (outside of the tornado-range), if you loose to much health before he is dead move popo back, but at this point you should have enough own units to crush his archers, so they wont do that much dmg to your units.
Sorry, one more, you have to decide what you want, either you can use popo (not that much puppys, but cuz of rage they deal more dmg) or viegraff (more puppys cuz you can heal viegraff)... all in all both will work, you have decide which strategy you will use... if you dont have SA popo^^
