Hey man! Sorry for my late reply again... I've got a million things to do right now, one of them being work for the MBWC, so I am behind on pretty much everything! =P
I did change the thread title right after I saw it, but I didn't have the time to actively pop up in the competition lately... you're still doing a good job IMO! Only things I've been thinking about is battles that might spike interest, like more popular bands and artists? More recent ones I mean... what do you think? =)

yeah, i guess they would work. i just think he's way above their class though. probably just my personal opinion. james brown is way overrated. and in my opinion aretha is a bit overrated as well. she, i think, is the top female in that regard, but i still don't think she compares to Ray. So against either, i'd predict a washout in favor of Ray. But that will happen sometimes.
