About

You'd get tired of reading if I wrote everything about myself here. If you want to know me, all you have to do is ask. ^^

  1. Who would have thought? XD

Precisely. Though as Christians we may have several concrete cases, such as the historical proof of the Davidic Kingdom, or of the workings of Christ, many of the principles we accept must be accepted on faith. There may be a lot of evidence to support a Christian worldview, but it must ultimately be accepted as faith.

I have two NIV Bibles, and a copy of the Talmud that I have no idea where it came from. No Koran, but I've always wanted to read it to see for myself just how similar it is to the Bible. My computer is really, really, unfathomably slow, so its actually faster for me to flip through the thousand or so pages that is my Bible. Google is useful for theme-related verses, or if you know the wording, but not the actual verse.

Concordance? I'm unfamilliar with that word; care to fill me in? :D

  2. No problem! That verse actually came to my attention when a self-proclaimed theologian tried to use it to proove that Christianity was a polytheistic religion because of the plural pronouns used throughout. I want to say its this link, though I think I may be wrong. Of course, I can't even remember if I've got it linked to in the first place. :/ (http://creation.com/article/5913)

Yeah, it is. Matthew 7:6- "Do not give dogs what is sacred, do not throw your pearls to pigs. if you do, they may trample them under their feet, and then turn and tear you to peices." I think it was CS Lewis who said something about letting the non-believers down easy, and speaking softly in accordance to their beliefs. Its rather disheartening though when someone is determined to stick like Gorilla Glue to a wrong worldveiw, especially when considering whats at risk. Doesn't help that you get border line trolled while going bout it.

What version of the Bible do you have? I've got a NIV, so it has some pretty helpful verse notes.

  3. Genesis 1:26-

Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."

This verse refers to the 'parts' (if you will) of God. The same chapter then says that God 'made man in His image', refering to the Father.

I keep up with the religion threads in the WEPR, though I gave up participating in them. I didn't see the point, as its akin (I find) to beating your head against a brick wall. Putting forth arguments only to be told 'nope, you're wrong', or to have clearly fallicious arguments put forth (I can't see God, so he must not be real) is rather tiresome. Still, I wish you luck with it, and I also recomend you check out the links on my profile. :D

Also, whered you learn your Hebrew? Or do you just have good notes? :)

  4. Hi there! I don't know you, but what's up? ^.^

  5. Hi Zellos,

I've updated the game to version 1.0.3 (right click in the game to find out which version number you have). Ranking players is now limited to Quick Play and not the find rooms area. You should be able to play against your friend now. Sorry about that.
