I use Windows, I also used to use Linux but that is beside the point. Apple computers don't feel very customisable or user friendly. It takes way to long to get used to it and yes, not as many games. The speed issue varies with computers, I use the settings in my computer to speed it up. I'm actually not sure what you're comparing, but I've been assuming operating systems. So anyways, Windows.
It really depends on your needs. If don't need much power and want a nicer design, you'll be happy with apple. But for me as a gamer apple is worth nothing, and from what I hear it's more expensive for less power, so...
