I thought you said funny actors. Kevin James can be called neither in my honest opinion. The King of Queens is such a generic sitcom, devoid of any interesting premise, characters or jokes that it's almost a stereotype. Not even Patton Oswalt's occasional presence saves it. It's anti-funny and I'll be glad when it and its ilk of cheap laugh-track sitcoms are long gone.
Adam Sandler barely beats him, by virtue of having made actual comedy like Happy Gilmore and Billy Madison (although that was once upon a long time ago) and delivered a strong acting performance in Punch Drunk Love. But he's guilty of the same cheap comedy Kevin James loves, like Jack and Jill and Grown Ups and every other piece of crap he's "starred" in. My favorite Sandler movie is probably Punch Drunk Love.
The Longest Yard was one of the funniest movies ive ever seen and still holds the spot of my favorite movie ever
Bedtime Stories was a pretty funny movie and showed off his versatility as an actor, going from Longest Yard to Bedtime Stories are 2 completely different roles, and he played them brilliantly
Waterboy and Happy Gillmore were 2 of my favorite sports comedies ever made, just like Longest Yard
Click showcased his versatility at its finest. He can even act in a tragicomedy. He is so talented as an actor and thats what makes him great.
While I still like Kevin James, Sandler is just too good.
