For me, Swords and Potions was a HUGE disapointment. At first, the game is ultra fun and addicting, but around day 11, you have to wait for the next day... what the hell? Its not fair, and people who are rich can buy them away. Also, some of the research items require TOKENS which require MONEY. To the greedy *******s who made this, at LEAST let down the day wait time!
I am with you three! I liked it at first but then when they started timing me after about the 12th day or so I put up with it for a while. But then I got fed up with it. Why is it so expensive? I don't 10 dollars or more to spend on tokens!! How come we can't earn tokens!?? I boycot this game!!
I agree 100% who the hell is gonna spend 100s of dollars on tokens thats riddiculous, I get they wanna make a profit here but after day 11 or 12 when you have to start waiting or pay come on
It's like one of those stupid Facebook games, that noone likes. I actaully wouldn't call it a game, but a simulation, which is why I don't like it here.
This is a screenshot of the Gift Roulette (taken from another hosting site). As you can see, there are all kinds of rewards (even tokens) you can get once per day (or rather 23h after you last go it/started the game for the first time) beginning on your second RL day, so obviously none of you has seen it yet.
Swords and Potions represents a slippery slope down the path of hosting games requiring payment of real money to achieve in-game success. Not that there's anything wrong with pay-to-play, as long as you're willing to lose your reputation as a trusted provider of free games. Kongregate fell down that slope and it would be a shame to see it happen here too.
I thought the game was pretty fun, until it got to the timing or you pay out to them. If a game is going to charge money for anything, then it has to be a large enough game with a truly grasping gameplay, and even then, they should lower the cash requirement to under what this game costs. This game isn't worth my money.
