nope it has become the game all other shooters want to be. when other shooters come out they even claim to be "halo killers". i dont think its possible for halo to be overrated if its regarded so highly just in the industry itself.

Yeah. Only the multiplayer is fun.

NO halo is amazing, amazing plot, character disign, weapon variety, gameplay, graphics (eh could be better no lie) online wins it, so much variety, and ways to win

Halo is Currently Overated

Currently for Halo 3, yes. The series, no. It started a complete line of ragdoll shooters, and high graphic alien painkillers.

halo3 is a really good game but in my oppinion it didnt live up to the hype that halo 1 and 2 put out

Halo has forced the rest of FPS games to be that much better. Because everyone has to try and beat it, and for that i am grateful. But some ppl need to give it up...there are 2 soon to be 3...better games. Call of Duty4, Rainbow 6 vegas 2, and soon GOW2...so their are many who overate it, but all in all ppl are catching on that its not the best

It depends on which one you're talking about, overall no, but just for the third it is. The other 2 aren't overated

halo2 sucks. TOTTALLY OVERRATED halo1. its not overated. i think its rated ok. Halo3 i love the story mode and only experiance. to be honest, i dont think halo3 is overated.

Depends, if you just play Campaign than yeah! Not if you play online, than it is quite awesome.
