Click control panel in the upper right hand corner > armatars > click the bubble underneath your desired armatar > scroll down and click update armatar.

Anyway, a better protip (be pro, not me): Hard refresh ever so often, if you want to be sure you are actually replying to a fresh thread, and not just looking like a tool replying to something that has already been answered. The forums are screwed these days, so it won't automatically refresh, so ctrl+f5 or whatever the macs does, and then you will see the true forums.
