to be specific, a RTT, without the resource management, or extreme micromanagement, seeing as i can get a little confused and not keep up, anyone got any ideas? :P

I saw the trailer for the up and coming Assasins Creed. It looks quite amazing 1) because of the same costume etc etc, 2) it's set during a British war, and 3 ) They're adding many new and better things from the prievious games! I'm pretty sure I'm buying that (it would be my first asassins creed... It's the only one that caught my eye) and Black Ops 2 ... I'm getting BO2 for the zombies and I just started liking zombies recently.

both are overrated, when i saw the Assasin creed commercial, at first i was excited that they were making a revolutionary war game, then i saw The AC guy, then i stopped caring
But loco5, what system do you use anyway? PC?
PC with Steam, it's a laptop not really meant for gaming, but i can run Shogun 2 with med graphics
I don't know if you ever considered the Total War genre, but those could be viable options.
i have them all, but i want a RTT not an RTS (Real Time Tactics involve smaller squad based gameplay, like Company of Heroes, or World in Conflict)
it's fun, but also not part of my criteria, too much base building, although that could just be because i had it for Xbox, i prefer my strategy games on PC.
i wonder why people just say you should play some random games while you did ask for RTT (and RTS maybe?)
i personaly liked the "command and conquer" serie the most. (except for the Tiberium games) but beside those already well known games i liked the warhammer series alot 2. both the fantasy and the 40k serie. especialy "Warhammer: Mark of Chaos" i played that for weeks.
