Going to Freakenstein's page and page 70 in Tacky's thread in the AMW is redirecting me to a shock site. I asked several people and it's happening to them as well. On Firefox it prevents you from being redirected, but if you're using other browsers they may not prevent it.
@ Cenere : I don't completely think that there's no foundation for a formal complaint... the fact that I'm member of a Flash Gaming website and am confronted with a 'arty of lemons' is reason enough for me to complain with the staff!
Granted, they can't be held responsible directly for this, as it was a hacker -or several hackers- that attacked the site, but indirectly they can be held accountable for this mess as they agreed on letting AG users tamper with HTML coding and provide a foundation for these types of malicious attacks...
In the end... I'm glad the forums are up and running again! Closing them indefinitely would have been a sure death sentence for the AG community! Just glad we're all still here. =)
Yes, it was a meta refresh. Thaboss figured that out. The staff has already blocked ALL use of HTML in the forums and on comments, but until someone uses the meta refresh in their profile to cause redirects, then it will be banned in profiles.
And there's a glitch in the forums that makes new posts not show up unless you do a (sometimes multiple) hard refreshes. (shift+ f5). That was actually kinda funny, because when the forums first stopped working, thaboss though his post wasn't showin up because of the glitch, not because the forums weren't working...
