We should not allow guests anymore. They ruin the game and they cannot get in trouble. One guest was muting me all the time and he said I hack. I DONT EVEN KNOW HOW TO HACK! People, guests are unnecessary, we need to get rid of them. I cant play with them muting me all the time. What to do?
You shouldn't worry if people mute you or accuse you of hacking. The option is there for a reason, and if they can't prove you're hacking then it doesn't matter - nobody is going to get in trouble through baseless allegations. You are able to play the game even if they do mute you, they just don't want to see what you have to say. What to do? Ignore it.
A little of topic, but i was playing Starcraft one day, and every time I tried to start a game on this one map, it glitched and said I won immediately. Because of this I got branded a hacker by the host and someone else, like Jeff I don't know how to hack.
and as for the guests ruining the fun. they should be able to do whatever they want, except cheat.
Umm... what do you mean by "ermanent number"? Also, that guest was muting me all the time. In the game and out of it. People, guests are smart evil beings that do not earn respect. I thought hacking was already enough. NO. They are like gods because they cannot get in trouble. They can only be kicked out of the server, but its really easy to come back on so with guests around were all screwed.
Well, i'm not gonna specifically say how to hack. But there are plenty of ways to do it. Most use a hack engine, others use other third party equipment to hack. Some go into the game files themselves and edit those. But it all requires math in some way or another, either that or knowledge in coding. I wish Krin would implement, (yet another) anti-hack system within the game to reduce the number of hackers. The current anti-hack system doesn't normally work, and it can be used against normal players by hackers to kick players out of games. This has become a major problem. 3/8 of the games i play i get kicked on "Suspicion of hacking". I know Krin is sick, and is working on 2 massive games, but i wish he would do something about these hackers. >:/
Why don't we "SAY NO TO GUESTS" ? Make them join "F.A." ! We may need a way to spread this slogan... Just hope that every "Accounters" would listen ! . . . I lost 23 C-Wins cuz' of them...
Umm... how about in colony 2 there could be 2 multiplayer rooms: for AG users and for guests. So those guests dont stand in our way. Most guests are hackers and cheaters and freakin annoying muters. Well, i was teaching my friend how to whisper and then he muted me, i needed to join a game and quit it, then my friend saw that i wasnt online anymore because i was in the game for a sec, then since i wasnt online anymore he thougt i was playing something else. So he quit. When i came back from the game he wasnt there anymore. After a while he came back, but the guest kept muting me. Now i told him to stop muting me. Instead that guest muted my friend too. We told him to stop, he kept doing that and we didnt know which one it was because there was like 8 guests online. Then i said: "im gonna tell this to Krin" and after a second that guest said: "to not allow hackers like you" I mean what the hell? Ive never hacked. And there has to be something we can do about it. Because those guests cannot get in trouble. Any other ideas, GhostOfMatrix?
People can choose to mute whoever they like. It's their choice if they don't want to see what you have to say, and you shouldn't care. You can't control what they do. There's no trouble to get in to, because muting isn't a bad thing.
Hey guys, I have this GREAT idea! Why don't, if you get sore over getting muted or losing to a hacking guest, just DON'T PLAY WITH THEM! It's that simple! No need for whining or anything of the type! Unless you know the guest's true identity, all you need to do is kick them unless you're feeling nice about guests that day. Muting is another thing, but still...
Also, if you get bored because only guests come to your games and you always kick them, just either add in some CPUs! If you hate rushing, well TOO BAD! It's the game! If you get bored with CPUs because you think "they suck" try 1v2ing two hards! Tis a great exercise that earns you many a skill and knowledge.
MUTING ISNT A BAD THING? MUTING IS HORRIBLE. I said, i didnt even care and i was talking to my friends, until i got muted. And i wasnt able to talk to my friends anymore. I didnt talk with any guests, he just muted me without any reason. You said he didnt want to hear my thoughts, i was just tlking to my friends, what could he actually have agianst me? Ive never done anything evil to him. Its unfair.
With muting, are we talking about the ability to mute people so they can't see your comments or they mute you and the whole lobby can't see what you're saying? If you're friend are muting you then you shouldn't consider them friends. If we're talking about the latter then you should find better lobbies. If that's not what you're talking about, why does it matter? They mute you so they don't see your posts, if you can still comment, what's the problem?
