I think this feature should really be added. Some of these games are bleh and some are pretty good. But because we can't say which is which, the lesser ones are getting more attention than they really deserve. Plus, we don't know what to expect out of the game. I personally find myself overestimating what the game has to offer by the review the game maker wrote for it and end up being disappointed by the game itself. Plus, I'm pretty sure the rest of the community is irked that this simple, AP rewarding feature isn't already on the mmos.
Perhaps this is a scheme to get more people to play them. We don't know their ratings, all we can see are the amount of game plays and fancy thumbnails. Surely that makes people curious and we end up clicking on them. However if they displayed low-mediocre ratings people wouldn't try them.
on the other hand statistics show something else - look at the number of plays - they're rather low Seems people prefer to avoid what they cant get any reviews on
The (in my opinion) big problem with ratings on Armorgames is that, once you voted, even Armageddon couldn't change it.
Many players would rate an otherwise ok or even good game badly if it has microtransactions. AG probably gets a share of the money spent, so disencouraging players from trying out these games and decide for themselves is something they do not want.
