One time, I was digging on the side of our house, and hit something with my shovel. After brushing away the dirt, I noticed it was something shiny. So I dug carefully around it, and found a few more shiny spots. It turned out that those four shiny spots were actually the tips of some sterling silver forks and spoons.
I don't know if they're worth anything, but it was exciting to find something besides rocks and dirt.
I found a large box filled with vintage Playboy magazines once.
Not going into detail, but best. Treasure. Evar.

When we were digging post-holes for a barn I found a pair of handlebars. When we moved into our new house I found some 1800 era books in the attic. Finally, upon scrounging for cash in my dresser, I found a $100 bill, which I thought I had lost.
i have found a lot of things in my life because i LOVE to dig i found a few dollar bills a couple five dollar bills one ten dollar bill and a 100 dollar bill i found a lunchbox with a bunch of stupid coins from like 35 years ago that arent worth much i think that was suposed to be a time capsule i also found 2.4 lbs of gold by panning in a river i was surprised how much it was worth like a few k $ i also found stuff like bones and speedos at the beach lol
