its a pretty good show, it explains what you'd want to do in certain situations. but you sould know its all fake, he always has people around him making shure he is ok.
It's fake. A good one is Survivorman with Les Stroud. He has to survive for a week with only a few things that he brings, like a knife. He also runs all of the cameras himself. So if he wants to do a shot where he walks 3 miles away and it fades out, he walks the 3 miles away, walks 3 miles back, packs up the cameras, then brings them the 3 miles he would walk anyway. He has no help at all.
I agree with fish, they are both good shows but Survivorman is more realistic. Bear does things at a pace that other people would probably not be able to keep up with. Basically, it's for entertainment. Les is a bit more realistic with his survival skills by putting an emphasis on conserving energy. Thats why you don't see him running around as much.
I wouldn't say it's "fake" nowhere does it say "bear grills is left in the wild alone to survive" it's really just him being in the wild and demonstrating how to survive. Unlike what Tactical Fish is talking about, Les Stroud really is alone.
